Auto-fill:
As text is entered in to the search box, a drop down box may appear, giving a selection of suggested phrases or stock codes. These selections can be clicked on. This can save time in entering a full statement. Often as more text is entered the selection of phrases and codes will change. Auto fill function will attempt to bring up the closest relevant choices. If no suggestions available or suggestions ignored, the text or barcode entered will become the search.
Barcode:
On completion of entering the full correct barcode the exact item will appear.
After Search:
many results may be returned. A good way to narrow down the results is use the “Narrow Selection to” drop down box. This will provide a choice of Brands, Product type or Categories of items, related to the search phrase.
